Anyone who wants to run for office has to email ILS at ils@law.umaryland.edu by April 1st at 5pm with their intent to run as well as a statement, up to but not exceeding 1 page, explaining why they are qualified and want to run. We will make sure to send out all candidate statements to the entire listserve by Monday April 4th. Our general body meetings will be Tuesday April 5th at 6:30 pm in Room 309 and Wednesday April 6th in Room 302, during which we will talk about the Hunger Banquet and then give any e-board candidates a chance to speak for no more than two minutes. Elections will occur via blackboard on Thursday April 7th. If International Law Society is not listed as a course on your blackboard you will not be able to vote. It can take several days for individuals to be added to blackboard, therefore, requests to be added to ILS' blackboard page must be received by April 1st at 5pm in order to guarantee that such requests will be processed in time to vote in the elections.
