Criminal Law Association
The Criminal Law Association (CLA) provides a network for all students interested in getting involved in criminal law. It coordinates activities that provide forums for students to learn more about both the prosecution and defense of a criminal case. The association encourages debates on current issues in the criminal law and the field of criminal justice. It has hosted panel discussions and heated arguments concerning platforms relevant to the pursuit of criminal justice. Members are involved in these events, as well as an end of the year meeting attended by criminal law attorneys, judges and professors from various Maryland communities.
