MIPSA is a University of Maryland School of Law student organization dedicated to encouraging and developing student interest in Intellectual Property Law

At the School of Law, MIPSA annually organizes the following events: (1) lectures by prominent scholars and practitioners, (2) career panels, and (3) other activities aimed at inspiring and educating law students interested in learning about Patent, Trademark, Trade Secret, or Copyright Law.

Additionally, MIPSA is one of the few student organizations that publishes a newsletter.  The Maryland Intellectual Property Law Electronic Newsletter provides law students with a rewarding writing opportunity on an IP related topic of their own choice.
