Experience Maryland
We welcome and encourage prospective students to visit the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. We hope that you will take the time to explore our school and experience the collegial and collaborative community that makes Maryland unique!
In order to take optimal advantage of your time here, we recommend that you visit a class, take a tour of the school, attend an open house, and/or participate in our webcasts and chat sessions designed to educate you about the School of Law and its many offerings and programs.
Class visits and student-led tours are available during designated periods of the fall and spring semesters. During the summer months, we encourage visitors to come to the school, to visit the Admissions Office, and to take a self-guided tour of our facilities.
- WEEKLY CLASS VISITATION SCHEDULE
There are no classes available for visitation at this time. Please check this website again in September 2012 to sign up to visit a class and to take a guided tour.
- LAW SCHOOL TOURS
There are no guided tours available at this time. However, you may come to visit the law school at any time. During the week, stop into to the Admissions Office (Suite 130) to speak with a representative and to pick up a handout that will help direct you during a self-guided tour of our law school.
- OPEN HOUSES
There are no scheduled Open Houses at this time. We will post the Open House dates for 2012-2013 in September.
- PARKING
Both street (metered) parking and garage parking is available on campus near the law school. The closest parking garage is the Grand Garage located at 5 N. Paca Street directly across from the law school at the corner of Baltimore and Paca Streets. Please find additional parking information below:

- OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS HOURS
The Office
of Admissions is open from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday
to Friday. The office is closed on weekends.
