Environmental Law Externship Program - ME3 IN DC

Externship Placements

The University of Maryland Carey School of Law and ELI will work with students to place them in a variety of environmental law externships that suit the individual student’s career goals and provide opportunity to gain real-world experience addressing today’s environmental challenges.

The University of Maryland Carey School of Law has decades of experience developing externship opportunities for students. ELI has decades of experience working with student externs. Both are leaders in the Environmental Law education and have trained and worked with hundreds of lawyers, policymakers, and scientists in the field.

If you already have an offer to work for a government or non-profit organization, let us know and go ahead and apply. If you are looking to obtain an externship, please contact William Piermattei who can provide options consistent with your career goals.
