On Friday, November 18th, 2011, The Environmental Law Program hosted its annual Wine Tasting Party: Nature’s Thanks for Preserving the Earth with another large turnout of alumni, students and faculty. The mystery wine contest lived up to its name this year – prizes had to be given out based on the vintage year only because no one guessed the variety or country of origin. The wine was a 2009 Pinotage from South Africa that Prof. Percival acquired during his trip there in July for the Annual Colloquium of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law – an event that will be hosted by the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in July 2012.
The Annual Wine Tasting Party is tentatively scheduled for the third Friday of every November from this point forward. Mark your calendars!
