Install remote printing support via Screwdrivers

  • Windows ME, 98, 95 Users: Remote printing is not available.
  • MAC Users: Remote printing is not available.

  • Windows XP & 2000 Users: Download and install the Screwdrivers program.
    Note: You cannot install Screwdrivers while Remote Desktop is running.

    Download Screwdrivers

    • NOTE: Screwdrivers will only connect your home computer's default printer to the Remote Desktop session. Users with multiple home printers should set the default printer BEFORE using Remote Desktop.

    What is "Remote Desktop"?

    Remote Desktop, a function included with Windows XP Professional, enables you to connect to your computer across the Internet from virtually any computer, Pocket PC, or smartphone. Unlike a typical VPN connection (which will give a remote PC access to the company network) Remote Desktop will actually allow you to see and control your connected PC as though you were sitting directly in front of it.
