The University of Maryland Immigration Clinic and the World Relief Baltimore Immigration Legal Clinic are offering free legal consultations for individuals in removal proceedings before the Baltimore Immigration Court.
Consultations are free. An experienced volunteer attorney will give you advice about your rights and possible immigration relief, but the attorney is NOT agreeing to represent you in court. He or she will only advise you about your rights and your possibilities for fighting deportation.
Consultations will be held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month at the:
University of Maryland School of Law
Clinical Law Office
500 W. Baltimore Street, Room 360
Baltimore, MD 21201
If you want to consult with an attorney, you must arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 am on one of the consultation days. You do not need to have an appointment.
You must bring all documents relating to your court case and your immigration situation, including any papers from the court. If your case is based on marriage to a US citizen or permanent resident, both husband and wife must attend the consultation.
If you do not speak English, Spanish or French, please bring someone with you to interpret.
