For more than a decade, Maryland's Clinical Law Program has been ranked among the nation's top ten by U.S. News & World Report. A national leader, it was the first law school program in the country to receive the John Minor Wisdom Award, the American Bar Association's leading public service honor.
Each year, 25 faculty lead 250 students in providing 110,000 hours of free legal services to the community, making the Clinical Law Program one of the region's largest public interest firms. The Program allows students to work alongside faculty members on real-life cases, and gain a unique combination of theoretical study and practical experience that prepares them to hit the ground running in their legal careers.
