Michie's Annotated Code of Maryland (Md. Ann. Code (1957 edition)
and Md. Code Ann. (subject edition)) (Lexis Law Publishing):
- This is a topical compilation of the public general laws of Maryland
currently in effect.
- It includes:
- annotations to cases construing and interpreting provisions of
the code,
- references to articles in the Maryland Law Review and the University
of Baltimore Law Review,
- opinions of the Maryland Attorney General,
- commentaries, and
- historical tracings.
- It is updated yearly by pocket parts or cumulative supplements.
- The edition first published in 1957 (black binding, arranged by numbered
articles) is gradually being replaced by the edition first published
in 1973 (maroon binding, arranged by named articles). Both types of
volumes contain current law.
- One subject index covers both editions with the form of reference,
numbered or named article, indicating in which that topic is located.
