For almost as long as there have been presidential elections there have been campaign biographies and, more recently, opposition produced “tell-alls” that masquerade as biography. Each purporting to tell the truth about a candidate’s virtue or shortcomings. While YouTube and blogs offer immediacy the full-length biography still offers one of the best methods for a campaign to tell the entire, carefully crafted ‘history’ of a candidate.
