Lexis and Westlaw Summer Access
It is important to remember that at all times access to Lexis and Westlaw provided by the School of Law is only for academic research. Any sort of “for-profit” use is strictly prohibited under the education contracts that the school has with both systems.
Lexis access for continuing law students will be limited to career materials from June 1 through August 1. Westlaw access for continuing law students will be limited to two hours per month from June 1 through August 1.
For both Lexis and Westlaw, full access may be maintained for the summer if you are enrolled in a law school course, working as a research assistant at the law school, conducting work for one of the law school journals, or participating in an unpaid, non-profit externship. To maintain access, sign on to Lexis and Westlaw, click on the summer access/extension link, and complete the form.
