Charles A. Pipins II, also known as C.J., joined the library in the Spring of 2013 and holds the position of Research Librarian. He teaches Introduction to Legal Research and Advanced Legal Research, and also assists the Library in copyright clearance matters.
Prior to arriving at the Thurgood Marshall Law Library he was a Reference Librarian at Florida Coastal School of Law. He has an M.A. in Information Resources and Library Science from The University of Arizona where he was a Law Library Fellow at the Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library. His J.D. is from New York Law School, and he has a B.F. A. in Musical Theatre from Millikin University.
C.J. is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) where he is active in the Special Interest Sections devoted to: Social Responsibilities, Academic Law Libraries, and Research Instruction and Patron Services.
