Susan Krinsky joined the senior leadership team at Maryland Carey Law in 2013. Her responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of student life, from admissions through career development, including orientation, student counseling, registration and enrollment, and oversight of student organizations. In addition, she supervises the members of Maryland Carey Law’s communications group.
Prior to coming to Maryland Carey Law, Dean Krinsky served as Associate Dean and Adjunct Professor at Tulane University Law School, in charge of the admission, financial aid, and career services functions, as well as website content and marketing materials. She was instrumental in Tulane’s return from Hurricane Katrina. At Tulane, she also taught a Bioethics seminar and a basic health law and regulation course, at both the Law School and the School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine.
Dean Krinsky has worked closely with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for many years, serving on every standing committee, many work groups, chairing the 2006 Annual Meeting, and serving as the Chair of the LSAC Board of Trustees from 2015 to 2017. She is a frequent speaker on aspects of law school admissions. Prior to moving to Baltimore, she was a long-time Board member of the Louisiana Mental Health Advocacy Service and also served on the Boards of a variety of education- and arts-related organizations in New Orleans.
