
Biography
Katherine Davis is an adjunct professor teaching Written and Oral Advocacy, as well as Legal Writing, Civil Rights and Juvenile Rights at the University of Maryland Law School and other Universities. Prior to teaching she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maryland and the State of Georgia, representing state agencies in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Ms. Davis also serves on the Managing Board of Family and Children Services and is a pro bono attorney with KIND (Kids in Need of Assistance). She earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served on the Journal of International Law, and her B.A. in English and Journalism from the University of Richmond.
