
Biography
Ben Miller is an Assistant Public Defender in the Appellate Division of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender where he represents criminal defendants with the appeals of their convictions. Mr. Miller currently teaches Written and Oral Advocacy.
After graduating law school, Mr. Miller was a law clerk for the Superior Court of Massachusetts. He went on to also clerk for Chief Judge Peter Krauser of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
He graduated with honors from American University, Washington College of Law in May 2005, and is admitted to practice in Maryland, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. In law school, he was the Articles Editor for the Administrative Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Northeastern University, where he majored in Journalism. Prior to law school, he worked at several Boston-area newspapers, including writing for The Boston Globe.
