Michelle teaches in the Health Care Delivery and HIV/AIDS Clinic at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, which provides legal services on civil law matters to low income Marylanders living with HIV. Previously, Michelle taught in the law school’s International Human Rights Clinic in Baltimore and Namibia, Sub-Saharan Africa. Michelle also works at the Homeless Persons Representation Project where she provides legal representation to clients in public benefit matters. Michelle received her J.D. from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law in 2011 and her B.A. from American University in 2005. From 2005-2006, Michelle was a Fulbright Scholar in Spain where she researched the country’s experience with citizen juries over the past ten years with the co-author of Spain’s 1995 Jury Law.
