Biography
Stephanie Bowe joined the library in 2011 as the Resource Acquisitions and Metadata Services Librarian in Technical Services. She manages the assessment, licensing, and procurement of library collections, represents the library within the University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions and other consortia on issues related to resource acquisitions and library systems, and coordinates metadata policy and procedures.
Previously, Stephanie worked at the United States Supreme Court Library in technical services for four years while concurrently working as a Librarian on Sundays at the Alexandria Beatley Central Library and completing her MLS from The Catholic University of America in DC.
