
Biography
Mr. Williams is the Senior Counsel for Capital Litigation in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Maryland Attorney General’s Office.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Williams entered active duty as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force. Mr. Williams’ practice in the Air Force included environmental law and military justice, as both a prosecutor and defense counsel at the United States Air Force Academy. After leaving active duty, Mr. Williams became a Deputy District Attorney in the Office of the District Attorney, 4th Judicial District, Colorado. Before joining the Maryland Attorney General’s Office in 2006, Mr. Williams was an associate at Holland & Hart LLP in Colorado Springs, where he practiced complex commercial litigation; probate litigation; real estate litigation; and white collar, construction, and products liability defense.
