
Biography
Lynne Puckett is a partner at Hogan & Hartson LLP, an international law firm with more that 1,100 lawyers in 27 offices worldwide. Primarily based in Baltimore, Lynne has represented national and international clients domestically as well as in Europe and Central America. Her practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, debt and equity offerings, and general corporate and securities law matters. Her areas of expertise include private stock and asset acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, public offerings and private placements.
Lynne represents companies across many industries. Her clients include large multi-national companies as well as companies with an emphasis on the national security and defense industry - a logical transition from her prior work with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, where she received the agency’s Exceptional Achievement Award. Lynne’s experience in negotiations, board meetings, and strategic planning allow her to bring real-world experience to teaching the Corporate Transactions Seminar. Lynne has lectured nationally and internationally and has published on European and US competition issues. She also serves on the board of several non-profit organizations. She is currently a trustee of the American Shakespeare Center and Baltimore Outreach Services, Inc., a women and children shelter in Baltimore. She has previously served as a member of the board of advisors of the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.
