Biography
Melanie Shepherdson is an Attorney with EPA's Office of Civil Enforcement in Washington, D.C. She works in the Air Enforcement Division, focusing on Clean Air Act enforcement against stationary sources of pollution. Prior to joining EPA, Ms. Shepherdson worked for nine years as a Staff Attorney in the Water Program at the Natural Resources Defense Council in Washington, D.C., where she focused on Clean Water Act litigation and policy. She received a B.A. with majors in Biology and French from Bucknell University and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law with a concentration in Environmental Law.
