Biography
B.A., 1993, Brandeis University; J.D. 1997, Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. Mr. Miller is currently an Assistant General Counsel with KPMG LLP, specializing in Government contracts. From 2006 to 2009, he was an associate in the Government Contracts Group in the Washington, DC office of Arnold & Porter LLP. Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Mr. Miller worked for the Department of Navy’s Office of the General Counsel. From 1998 - 2002, he was Assistant Counsel for the Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Washington, DC, specializing in construction and service contracting for Navy and Marine Corps sites in the region. In 2002, he was selected for the position of Counsel, Navy Public Works Center Washington, where he provided legal advice in a variety of areas, including environmental, personnel and contracts law. Mr. Miller became Associate Counsel to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management & Comptroller) in 2004, where advised on fiscal law, contract financing and legislation.
