Mr. Ghingher is a member of Saul Ewing's Business Department in its Baltimore office. His practice focuses on corporate, business and intellectual property issues, including business transactions of all kinds; mergers and acquisitions; the licensing of intellectual property, including computer software; employment agreements; franchises; distributorships; non-competition agreements; succession planning; shareholders agreements; and estate planning coordination. Mr. Ghingher handles the governance, business and transactional matters for many businesses and non-profit organizations, and has represented businesses of all types and sizes in acquisition transactions.
Among his community activities, Mr. Ghingher is counsel to the United Way of Central Maryland, is active with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, and served as President of the McDonogh School Board of Trustees from 1991-1995. He is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and the Corporations, Banking and Business and the Taxation Sections of the Maryland State Bar Association. For a number of years, he served as the principal faculty member for the MICPEL course on the purchase and sale of businesses.
Mr. Ghingher received an A.B. degree from Princeton University and a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was Editor in Chief of The Maryland Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to practice law in Maryland.
