Danielle Marcus's practice focuses primarily on products liability defense and she has successfully represented clients through all phases of the litigation process, including conducting fact and expert witness depositions, resolving discovery disputes, and drafting and arguing dispositive motions. She has tried cases to verdict (bench and jury trials), and has prosecuted appeals in state appellate court. Danielle currently represents a chemical company in multiple asbestos products liability cases pending in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Danielle also defends Baltimore City police officers against civil rights claims in state and federal courts and has written appellate briefs in a variety of State appeals. Danielle drafted an Amicus Brief on behalf of the Maryland Defense Counsel on the significant public policy issue of whether Maryland should retain the complete defense of contributory negligence: Coleman v. Columbia Soccer Association, 432 Md. 679, 69 A.3d 1149 (2013). Danielle is an at-large member of the Executive Board of the Women's Bar Association and currently serves as President of the Anne Arundel County Chapter.
