Ms. Sinder is active in the American Association of Law Libraries, serving on a number of committees as well as editing the Membership News column of the Association’s newsletter. In 2007 she was named the Editor of Law Library Journal, the official journal of the Association.
Before coming to the University of Maryland, Ms. Sinder spent a number of years at the Duke University Law Library, where she began as a Reference Librarian, and later served as the Head of Information Services and as the Web Site Manager for the law school’s web site. After leaving Duke she spent three years in Dublin, Ireland, at the GSM Association, an international trade association for mobile phone operators.
