Kathryn Newhall was most recently Director, M&A, at Fortis Advisors. Prior to that, she was an associate at Cooley LLP in San Diego, California, where she represented clients in a wide variety of transactional and pro bono matters, including initial public offerings, private financings, mergers, corporate formation and application for recognition of tax-exempt status. She previously clerked for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Newhall is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. and M.A., English Literature) and Stanford Law School. She is a member of the Living Classrooms Foundation Board of Trustees.
