Judge Weisberger was an administrative law judge for the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission from 1986 until he retired in 2013. He served as a hearing office chief administrative law judge and administrative law judge for the Social Security Administration, a trial attorney for New York State Department of Law and the U.S. Department of Justice, and the director of Neighborhood Legal Services in Springfield, Massachusetts. Judge Weisberger received his A.B. degree from Columbia College, and his LL.B. from New York University. As an Adjunct Professor of Law at Howard University School of Law, University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, and University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law he has taught Social Security Disability Law: Preparation and Presentation of a Social Security Disability Case Before An Administrative Law Judge. He was a continuing judicial education instructor for twelve years, and taught evidence, decision making, expert testimony, trial skills, pre-hearing efficiency, decision writing, stress management, judicial ethics and role of administrative law judges. Judge Weisberger is an alumnus of The National Judicial College, and was on the faculty from 1998 to 2006.
