Biography

Mr. Kobrin serves as an Assistant Public Defender in the Appellate Division of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. His practice consists entirely of appellate litigation in the Maryland Court of Appeals and Court of Special Appeals. In addition, Mr. Kobrin teaches Written and Oral Advocacy and serves as a coach for the Maryland Moot Court Board.

After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2011, Mr. Kobrin clerked for The Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera of the Maryland Court of Appeals. While in school, Mr. Kobrin served as President of the Moot Court Board, a writing fellow, a research assistant, and Coordinator of the Peer Advisor Program. As a peer advisor during his third year, Mr. Kobrin helped Professor David Gray's Section G team win the Fifth Annual Robert Percival Softball Tournament.
