Chris Lonegro is a registered patent attorney and limits his practice to matters involving patent, trademark and copyright prosecution, licensing and litigation. Chris has over ten years of experience and began his legal career as part of the intellectual property practice group in Ober|Kaler's Baltimore Office where he litigated patent, trademark and copyrights matters in the federal district courts of Maryland, New York, New Jersey and California as well as on the appellate level before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. Chris is also experienced in patent and trademark prosecution and administrative proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office where he clerked during law school.
Chris is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section, earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University in 1996 and an MBA from Johns Hopkins in 2001. He earned is J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2005. Chris was recently published as a co-author of the American Health Lawyers Association's "Clinical Research Practice Guide," 2nd Edition, and has been recognized by SuperLawyers on multiple occassions.
