Mr. Bolea is an Assistant Attorney General and Principal Counsel to the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) and the Power Plant Research Program (PPRP) at Maryland’s Department of Natural Resources. Mr. Bolea’s practice involves representing MEA, PPRP and other State agencies before State and federal courts and administrative agencies, and providing general legal counsel and advice. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Mr. Bolea worked in private practice and clerked for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia on Maryland’s Court of Appeals and the Honorable Peter B. Krauser on Maryland’s Court of Special Appeals.
Mr. Bolea graduated Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he served on the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team and as a Staff Editor on the Law Forum and the Journal of Environmental Law. Mr. Bolea has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
