Biography

B.A. 1983, Boston University; J.D. 1994, Syracuse University. Dean Morris joined the School of Law in the fall of 1996 as Director of Career Development. Formerly she was affiliated with the general practice firm of Ghantous Law Offices, Ltd. in Peoria, Illinois and then served for two years as the Director of the Career Planning Center at the University of Miami School of Law.

Prior to entering the legal profession, she was Manager of Internal Communications at Bank of Boston (1988-1991) and Editor of Marketing Communications at New England Mutual Life (1983-1988). She also served for seven years as an executive officer of Career Expo, a Boston-based, nonprofit organization that presented college job fairs and professional development seminars.

Dean Morris is an active member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) and has served as Chair of its Employment Diversity Committee, Nominating Committee regional representative, and NALP Liaison to the American Bar Association’s Commission on Ethnic and Racial Diversity in the Profession.
