Biography
Professor Bamberger has been an attorney in public and private practice, a law school teacher and dean, a public administrator and a legal services attorney. Professor Bamberger was the first director of the federal program to provide legal assistance for poor people; was the dean of the law school at the Catholic University of America; was executive vice president of the national Legal Services Corporation; was named professor of the year by the Society of American Law Teachers; was a Senior Fulbright Scholar in Nepal and has been a scholar or visiting professor in The Netherlands and in South Africa. In the summer of 2006, Professor Bamberger returned to the School of Law to teach its General Practice Clinic.
