Professor Michael MillemannThe Baltimore Sun - Michael Millemann, JD, professor at the School of Law, says that a report of shots fired would justify police's forcibly entering a home. At the very least, he says, it would be sufficient to obtain a warrant for police to go inside. He was interviewed in the wake of the deaths of three people who were shot. Police responded to a report of gunfire but did not enter the home until after it had been set on fire.
