Professor Michael GreenbergerMarketwatch - During a panel discussion in Washington, D.C., Michael Greenberger, JD, professor at the School of Law, and Simon Johnson, Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor, said regulators should require big banks to undergo another round of stress tests focused on the litigation and other costs to financial institutions from investors seeking to force banks to repurchase or "put-back" bad mortgages. Greenberger is a former director at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
