Professor Rena Steinzor Washington Independent - Rena Steinzor, JD, a professor at the School of Law and president of the Center for Progressive Reform, reports that Cass Sunstein, President Obama's "regulatory czar," may be hiring Randall Lutter, a conservative economist who spent time at the American Enterprise Institute conducting economic analyses of regulations, to join Sunstein in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.

Assistant Professor David Gray & Adjunct Professor Andrew Levy New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, WJZ-TV, WBFF-FM - "The distinction might be drawn between embezzling city funds versus embezzling funds from a charity donation kitty that was never part of city funds, and never part of her duties as mayor," says David Gray, JD, PhD, a professor at the University of Maryland School of Law. "True, this trial hasn't been Sheila Dixon's finest hour, but neither did it reveal rampant venality," said Andrew Levy, JD, adjunct professor at the University of Maryland School of Law, told the Times. "Mostly, it displayed a tone deafness to ethical issues - such as the cozy relationship between developers and local politicians - that most people have become pretty inured to." Levy also did live TV interviews on at least three stations in the minutes following the verdict.
