France Research Professor Doug Colbert The Baltimore Sun - Lawyers for Sheila Dixon said Friday that the Baltimore mayor deserves a new trial because some jurors sent Internet messages to each other and lied about their past, while poor decisions by the judge led to confusing deliberations. The defense strategy is likely an effort to "preserve every possible issue for appeal," said Douglas Colbert, JD, a professor at the School of Law who observed much of the trial with his students.

Professor Danielle Citron Technology & Marketing Law Blog - The week before Thanksgiving, I attended an unusual symposium sponsored by the University of Denver Law Review entitled "Cyber Civil Rights: New Challenges for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties in our Networked Age."
