Professor Andrew LevyWBAL-TV - Parents of handicapped students at a Carroll County public high school are critical of a plan that sends wheelchair-bound students to stairwells during a fire, but does not provide for removing them from the burning building. Special wheelchairs used by the University of Baltimore to evacuate students down stairwells were shown. Andrew Levy, JD, adjunct professor, School of Law, discussed the need for this equipment. Levy, who uses a wheelchair, keeps one of the $900 chairs at his office.
