Ethics Committees in Action

This one-day conference will allow members of health care ethics committees, or those interested in health care ethics, to gain knowledge and understanding of ethical issues so that they will be able to more effectively analyze ethical cases that come before the ethics committee, more effectively contribute to the various ethics committee tasks (e.g., ethics consultation, education, and policy development/review), and be able to evaluate appropriate processes and outcomes of ethical decision-making in health care situations where there is conflict or uncertainty over which treatment option or plan of action is ethically justifiable.
