José Gabilondo

José Gabilondo (B.A., Harvard; J.D., Boalt Hall) is an associate professor at the College of Law, Florida International University, where he teaches corporate finance, tax, and contracts and researches finance law. Before entering academia, he worked in capital market regulation at the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. His scholarship on financial reporting, debt markets, and sovereign finance emphasizes the importance of entity and market liquidity dynamics.
