Penelope Andrews is a Professor at Valparaiso University School of Law where she is the Director of International Programs. She teaches various courses related to Public International Law including International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law. She also teaches a course on Gender and the Law. She has held several international visiting appointments. Her scholarship focuses on human rights in the South African, Australian, American and global contexts. In 2009, in addition to her appointment at Valparaiso Law School, she will hold a Chair in Law at LaTrobe University in Australia.
