In keeping with the Tournament of Champions’ spirit and goals to both inspire and challenge our future trial advocates to be their best, the "Community of Champions" seeks to challenge you, Maryland Law alumni and friends, to give your best by supporting the newly created Advocacy Fund at Maryland. Your participation will undoubtedly lead to future team success.
The Tournament of Champions places Maryland Law on a national stage for elite trial advocacy. In response, the School of Law created the Advocacy Fund to commemorate the 2006 National Championship that brought the Tournament to Maryland. The Advocacy Fund is an unrestricted account that will provide funding for National Trial Team and Moot Court competitions. The fund will provide resources for things such as:
As a donor to the Community of Champions, you will be:
Advocacy Champions ($5,000 per year for 5 years)
Champions are individuals willing to make a major gift of $25,000 or more to advocacy at Maryland, which can be paid over 5 years. Champions will receive special recognition at the Maryland Law Kickoff Celebration and recognition during each of the four days of the Tournament. Donors also will be recognized as Major Donors to our Making an Impact campaign and will become members of the Maryland Law School Club.

By making a one-time gift this year, you will help to establish a strong base of individuals committed to advancing advocacy at Maryland. Contributors will be recognized at the following giving levels:
