Meyer “Mike” Eisenberg

Prof. Eisenberg is a Senior Lecturer at the Columbia University School of Law where his research has focused on the regulation of Capital Markets, the Effects of Sarbanes-Oxley, and Securities Litigation Issue. Prior to joining the faculty at the Columbia University School of Law, Prof. Eisenberg was the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Deputy General Counsel and Acting Director of the Division of Investment Management.
Prof. Eisenberg is a 1958 Graduate of Columbia Law School and served as Law Clerk to Chief Justice William M. McAllister, Supreme Court of Oregon after graduation. Prof. Eisenberg has also had an extensive career in private practice, serving as a Partner at Rosenman Colin, and prior to that as Counsel at Kramer Levin, New York, Washington, D.C
