Dr. SU Chi


Dr. SU Chi Dr. SU Chi is the former Secretary-General of the National Security Council of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Dr. SU is now a professor at the Graduate Institute of China Studies, Tamkang University and chiarman of a newly established Taipei Forum. After teaching in National Chengchi University in the mid-1980s, In the 1990s Dr. SU joined the government service, heading the ministerial-level Government Information Office and the Mainland Affairs Council. Between 2005 and 2008, he was a non-district legislator in the Republic of China (Taiwan). He was awarded the Order of Propitious Clouds and Special Grand Cordon by President Ma in 2010. Dr. SU's publications include Taiwan's Relations with Mainland China: A Tail Wagging Two Dogs (1988-2004), published by Routledge, 2009.

Dr. SU obtained his MA and Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University, MA in International Studies from the SAIS, the Johns Hopkins University, and BA from National Chengchi University (Taiwan).
