The Class of 2009 Gift: Leaving our Legacy

Law and Social Work Competition

Law and Social Work have teamed up this year to engage in a friendly competition between our schools. The focus of the competition is on class participation -- the school that has the largest percentage of class members making gifts or pledges to the Class of 2009 Gift. Chairs from both schools determined the winning school will receive the following:

1. The winning school will have a sign placed in the other school's lobby the week of graduation, congratulating the winning school.
2. A congratulatory ad will be placed in the Maryland Magazine or The Voice.
3. Chairs from the non-winning school will deliver food to the winning school for a "study break" snack during finals.<

The competition ends on Friday, April 17, and the winning school will be announced via email the week after the competition ends.

Why Law and Social Work?

Last year, Law and Social Work led the UMB Campus with highly successful class gift projects. Both schools agreed to enter into a friendly class gift competition to see which school is the leader of the UMB Campus.
