Fun fact 1: I have traveled to over 40 countries worldwide, with favorites including the United Kingdom, Russia, Netherlands, Lebanon, and Croatia.
Last book read: SPQR: A History of Ancient Rome, by Mary Beard.
Fun fact 2: While at the University of Cambridge, for a single glorious year I held the title of “Strongest Man” on the university varsity weightlifting team, earned at our yearly competition against rivals at Oxford University.
Favorite Baltimore restaurant: Having lived in Baltimore for less than a month, my list is quite short! A couple of early favorites are Forno and The Helmand.
Favorite Baltimore pastimes: A day at the Walters Art Museum followed by delicious Afghan food at The Helmand. Alternatively, a haircut, traditional straight razor shave, shoe shine, and cocktails at The QG Barbershop and Speakeasy are perfect ways to relax after a long fundraising trip.
Why did you decide to join the Maryland Carey Law Development team? For a young major gifts fundraiser, this is such a fantastic time to be involved with Maryland Carey Law. With the launch of the Catalyst Campaign I will immediately get to raise money by traveling all over the country, engaging with alumni and friends of the law school. Finally, I could not miss the chance for exceptional professional development by working alongside such experienced and tremendous colleagues.
