School of Law graduates, faculty and students are invited to join leaders from Baltimore´s legal and business communities to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding alumni at the Alumni Association´s 18th Annual Honors Banquet. In addition to providing an opportunity for reconnecting with friends and networking with fellow graduates, the Honors Banquet is an opportunity for the School of Law to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding alumni.

- The Distinguished Graduate Award honors a UM Law alumnus/a who has achieved prominence through professional excellence and service to the Maryland community.
- The Benjamin L. Cardin Public Service Award is presented to an alumnus/a who has demonstrated significant and substantial contributions to furthering ideals of public service in the law.
- The Star Award recognizes an alumnus/a who as an "unsung hero" has quietly but diligently advanced the highest ideals of the legal profession.
- The Rising Star Award recognizes a recent graduate (within 10 years) whose exemplary contributions of service and leadership, either professionally or at the School of Law, has brought credit to the graduate and this institution.
