Writing
Writing and analysis are critical components of any legal career. Reflecting the importance of writing in legal education, the University of Maryland School of Law offers a substantial required and elective writing curriculum.
Students may augment their legal writing education by serving on the editorial staff of one of Maryland Law's four legal journals. Students may also choose to hone their writing skills through participation in writing competitions.
The legal writing program at the University of Maryland School of law also encourages students to take advantage of the services of the Legal Writing Center.
