This is a full-semester externship in which students work full-time in public interest and human rights law offices/agencies in South Africa. As a prerequisite, students must have completed South Africa: Race and the Law. Externships will be available for both Fall and Spring semester. Interested students should pick up an application from outside the Office of Registration & Enrollment after April 1st or contact Professor Sherrilyn Ifill. Students must register for the Externship in the semester (or summer session) in which the Externship work will be done. For the spring semester 2009, students will earn 13 credits for a fifteen week experience. P: South Africa: Race and the Law
