This course is taken over the entire academic year, with two credits in the fall and two credits in the spring semester. It expands the law school’s traditional Trial Practice course with a greater emphasis on exhibit/demonstrative evidence, expert witness testimony, advanced direct and cross examination, witness preparation and motions in limine. A student may not take for credit or audit both this course and Trial Practice. Evaluation of the students consists of in-class critique of student courtroom performances and comment on student written material related to specific litigation tasks assigned to them. Preference is given to second year students. Recommended: Evidence.
