International Civil Litigation (2)

This course examines the issues presented when litigation involves foreign parties in US courts and US parties in foreign courts. Among the topics covered are jurisdiction, choice of law, forum non conveniens, preclusion, and enforcement of judgments. International arbitration will also be discussed, as will be the role of the legal profession. The course will have a significant comparative law component.
